What’s The Use of Saving Money

One of our clients mentioned this Macleans article to me and I thought it was well worth sharing.

What’s The Use of Saving Money

Certainly speaks volumes about how our society has changed regarding money, savings and debt.  And with the governments of the world seemingly OK with creating massive amounts of new dollars or euros or whatever, and keeping interest rates low, are they really helping the problem.

Yes Mark Carney tells us we need to be more conscious of our ever increasing debt but at the same time access to cheap money is very irresistible.   At the same time, those that do save money are finding that the low rates they receive don’t even come close to covering inflation.

Enjoy.
