TRAIN2INVEST INC began in 2004 to address the challenges faced by ‘ordinary’ citizens that were being held hostage with regard to the management of their investments (i.e. their hard-earned savings).

Our research revealed that, there were many people who were very successful in their careers or in running their own business but relied totally on ‘experts’ simply because they felt that you needed a PhD in finance or economics to manage your own investments – a myth propagated by the financial services industry.

Other than paying these huge fees with mediocre results to various institutions, there were no alternatives to help most individuals who had registered savings plans (RRSPS/401(k) plans) to consider.

Most individuals resorted to various alternatives in order to seek better returns including:

FRANCHISES (all it did was to create another JOB!)
REAL ESTATE (jumps in interest rates, turned potential land lords into rooming house chaperones)
MLM - MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING (family & friends are not talking to them anymore!)
TAX STRATEGIES & OFF-SHORE TAX SHELTERS (Revenue Canada and the IRS are hunting them down - huge tax liabilities await them)
FOREIGN EXCHANGE (5 steps to currency trading gimmicks - instant recipe for disaster: you cannot compete with trillions of dollars being traded by money-center banks, hedge funds, central bankers, etc)
COMMODITIES (global pricing subsidies & weather - individual is left helpless)
OPTIONS (time is always against the individual trader!)

NEXT, the arrival of the instant gratification purveyors of the black box SOFTWARE magicians – “here, take this software, press 3 buttons & become like Bill Gates!” Although the programs made it easy for novices to self-direct their own investments, the success rate fluctuated wildly. It became a game of chance!

Looking at the problem, the owners of Train2Invest – being active and successful investors - KNEW THAT WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE, no investor would be successful in the stock market regardless of the tools at their disposal! Having successfully trained thousands of individuals, Train2Invest created a systematic course that would take a novice investor (and an experienced investor – with bad habits) to achieving an acceptable return based on their own risk profile.

TRAIN2INVEST had both - experienced talent and vision - needed to make a whole new category of investment performance possible for individuals.
